As part of the Design Overtime event we created a space upstairs at the Design Museum where partygoers could go to experience Kenwood products. During the opening night ‘Ball’ canapé demonstrations were given by Kenwood’s Development Chef Martin Johns and sampling was on offer at the smoothie bar, utilising the Goodwood Revival 1970s kitchen. Revellers could also decorate cupcakes to be used on the big finale… ‘The Cake’, a multi-tiered cupcake adorned centrepiece that made its dramatic entrance at the close of the evening. In the following days the space was used for drawing workshops for old and young alike.
